So Kind

This is a simple card I made using all Stampin' Up! products! I used the heart, the saying, and the larger swirls from Priceless stamp set. I used perfect plum and pretty in pink classic ink pads. For paper, I used very vanilla, pretty in pink, and pale plum. I then used my scallop cirle punch on the pale plum and the 1 3/8 circle punch for the pretty in pink. I stamped the heart and added dazzling diamonds with my 2-way glue pen. I attached that with dimensionals.

Lovely Tulip

This was one of the cards that I created for the silent auction gift basket donation.

All products are Stampin' Up! I used the tulip from Garden Whimsy. I used pretty in pink, cameo coral, and whisper white card stock. The tulip part of the card was an extra piece that I had made for a swap. Click here to see how I made it.

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!!!

Graduation Card

This is the Graduation card I made for my brother who just graduated 8th grade this last Wednesday! Our schools go late here!

This was another quick card. Time has just been flying by and I have not had the time to stamp!!! Frustrating, but anyway....I love how this one turned out!! All products are from Stampin' Up! The colors of the card stock are very vanilla, blue bayou, chocolate chip, close to cocoa, basic black, barely banana, and old olive. I used chocolate chip and blue bayou ink. The I used was Best Friends Alphabet Lower and the linen background which is now retired. I do not have a graduation set, so I improvised. I made the hat out of the 1 3/8 square punch, the word window punch (trimmed it a bit), and the slot punch. I realized that I did not have a black brad to attach the tassel, so I used a silver one and a sharpie to make it black! More improvising!!! I mounted the hat with dimensionals. I used the round tab punch to add another element to the card and wrote Congrats on it. Then I stamped the word grad with my letters. I also used the ticket corner punch! I love that punch! I then wrote some loving sisterly words of advice on the inside!!! :O)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Girl's 1st Birthday

A little baby girl in our family just turned 1 year old!!! This is the card that I made for her birthday!

All products are from Stampin' Up! I used one of my favorite sets....Garden Whimsy. Can you tell? It has been my go to set lately! The butterfly is so cute! And the number 1 is from On the Edge Numbers and the saying is from Birthday Whimsy which are retired sets. The background paper is from the Designer Series Paper, Flowers for You. I used pretty in pink and whisper white card stock. I used basic black and pretty in pink markers and classic ink pads. I stamped the butterfly twice and cut out the wings on the second one. Then attached them to the card with dimensionals. I used my scallop, 1 3/8, and 1 1/4 circle punches on the 1. I sponged the all three with pretty in pink. And I used dimensionals again between the scallop circle and the circles. I also used my ticket corner punch on the layers for the butterfly. The ribbon is regal rose 5/8 grosgrain. There is dazzling diamonds (and the 2-way glue pen...love that glue) on the 1 and the butterfly. Gotta have the sparkles!!!

Gift Basket Donation

I recently said that I would donate a gift basket to our church for a silent auction that is tonight. This is what I came up with.

I put in a catalog, a gift certificate, and a coupon for a free class. I also added a few stamps from the Small Talk incentives set and a Classic Black stampin' spot. Then I created a little tag making kit by punching out several different colors of card stock with the large tag punch. I added some ribbon too! This would go along with the stamps and the stampin' spot. My sister-in-law and my mother-in-law came up with the tag idea. They are soooo creative when it comes to these things!! We thought that this would be fun so that the winner would have something to play with while they waited for their order to arrive. I also included two handmade cards as well. Oh and I also threw in a Stampin' Techniques booklet too! This basket was fun to make!!! I can't wait to see who wins it!!

Thanks for looking and have a fantastic day!!

Quick Father's Birthday card

It was my father-in-laws birthday not to long ago and I realized that I needed a card quick! I had only a few minutes to get one made for him. I thought the Noble Deer set would be perfect! I picked my set, now all I needed was the color scheme!! That can be so hard sometimes!! But I quickly decided on very vanilla, chocolate chip, and mellow moss. I ran the chocolate chip card stock through my Sizzix machine using the Cuttle Bug Perfect Paisley embossing folder. I stamped both the image and the saying in chocolate chip. I used a saying from the set "It's Your Birthday" (which will be retiring very soon!). Then I used my ticket corner punch for the corners. I attached all of the pieces. And that was it! The card was done! He loved it!!!

Now looking back at the card I probably could have sponged the edges with chocolate chip to give it an aged look!! I still really like how the it turned out!! Oh and sorry about the picture, I took it in the car on the way to dinner!!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!!

WOW!!!

WOW!!! I can't believe that I have passed 5,000 hits!!! Thank you so much! I will be back soon with a chance to win some exciting blog candy! I will have to come up with something fun!!!

Thanks again!!

Garden Whimsy Swap

I made this card for a swap. I chose to use the Garden Whimsy set! It was for a 5-Set Sampler swap with my SU Little Debbies group. I used the card that I just made for a friend as my starting point! (This is the card.)

All products are from Stampin' Up! I started with whisper white, pretty in pink, cameo coral, and mellow moss card stock and inks. I also used the basic black marker and classic ink.

I created the flower, butterfly, and ladybug pretty much all the same way. I used my markers on the stamps. I started with the base colors on the stamp and then used the cameo coral on the tips of the flower and butterfly. Then stamped the image. I layered the tulip on to cameo coral and pretty in pink. I used my slit punch and a silver brad and sponged the edges in pretty in pink to add a fun touch. I mounted the butterfly on with dimensionals.

I used the scallop flower punch, 1 3/8, and the 1 1/4 circle punches to create the flower with the ladybug. I spong.ed the edges in pretty in pink. That is layered over a strip of mellow moss. The back ground was stamped with pretty in pink ladybugs. And for a fun touch I used dazzling diamonds and my 2-way glue pen to add some glitter to the flower, butterfly, and ladybug.

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Tulip Whimsy Birthday

This card was made for a friend of mine for her birthday! Garden Whimsy is such a fun set to use!!

All products are from Stampin' Up! I used the Garden Whimsy and It's Your Birthday sets. I used whisper white, perfect plum and pretty in pink card stock. I colored the tulip stamp with pretty in pink, mellow moss, and coral pink (on the tips of the flower) with my markers. I used the Rock & Roll technique on the butterfly. I first stamped it in perfect plum and then stamped off to get a lighter color. Then I rolled the edges of the stamp in the same ink. I cut out the butterfly. I stamped the saying in perfect plum and used my 1 3/8 circle punch. I attached that to the scallop circle. Then I mounted both the saying and the butterfly with dimensionals. I layered the tulip with pretty in pink and perfect plum. I also used the ticket corner punch. The background of the card is stamped in pretty in pink and perfect plum.

I love how this card turned out! I love the color combo!

Thanks for looking! I also have been working on some swaps using this same stamp set! I will post that a little later! Have a great day!!!
