Here is my entry for Kristina Werner's Color Challenge #35 ! Ok so the title should say Dragonflies and Flowers, but I added the second dragonfly and forgot to change the title. Then I submitted it for the challenge....and now I can not change it! Oh well! :O) This was a quick card too! I had no time at all to create it!! So busy these days!!
The colors for this challenge are chocolate chip, close to cocoa, baja breeze, so saffron, and very vanilla. I used card stock in all of those colors except for the so saffron. I chose the Pocket Silhouettes for the stamp set. For ink, I used baja breeze, so saffron, and chocolate chip. I used Stickles for the glitter. I used Baja Breeze striped ribbon and a very vanilla hodgepodge hardware. I used the designer label punch too! I also used the hostess stamp set called Organic Grace for the dragonflies!
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Winter Wonderland
So we have two pictures of the card today! My sweet husband helped me to take the pictures! I had trouble getting the sparkle to sparkle!!! The first picture is his and the second is mine!
Please check out my sister-in-law's site @ The Daily Ink for her card on this challenge!
I just love Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenges!! They really get me thinking!! Thank you Kristina!!! It seams that the only time I get to stamp right now is for one of her challenges. This is Color Inspirations Challenge #34. The colors for this challenge are pale plum, perfect plum, bordering blue, sage shadow, and certainly celery! Love this color combo!
I had so many ideas! Here is one that I came up with! I used the Punch Pals set! The colors of card stock that I used are whisper white, pale plum, perfect plum, and bordering blue. For ink, I used Stazon Black, whisper white craft, perfect plum, pale plum, sage shadow, and certainly celery. I also used the watercolor pencils and a blender pen. For all of the sparkle, I mixed it up between Dazzling Diamonds and Stickles. To make the snowflake brad sparkle, I used the 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds. I used the scallop circle punch, 1 1/4 circle punch, and the 3/4 circle punch. I also used dimensionals to make it pop! I added a the bow made of white taffeta ribbon with a mini glue dot to the corner!
So what do you think? Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Christmas Tags!
I just love the Punch Pals set!! It is one of my favorite holiday sets!! It is just so cute!!
I used Riding Hood Red, Hunter Green, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White card stock. Oh yeah and a tiny bit of chocolate chip. I stamped all of the images in Stazon Black so that I was able to use my watercolor pencils and the blender pen to color in the images. I also used Real Red and Baja Breeze ink. Then I used Stickles to add some fun glitter and silver brads dipped in Dazzling Diamonds for the Christmas Tree tag. I used the scallop edge punch, 1 1/4, inch, 1 inch, 3/4 inch and the 1/2 circle punches. I used dimensionals on some of them for an added pop! On the back I stamped To/From on the back!
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Color Challenge
Here is my entry for Kristina Werner's color challenge! The colors this time were Close to Cocoa, Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, and Whisper White. I love the picture she took for this one! Great color combo too!
I used all of the colors in card stock. I used the D'Vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder for the elegant eggplant layer. I used the scallop edge punch for the close to cocoa trim. I stamped the "Hi" from Say It With Scallops stamp set in Pumpkin Pie classic ink. I punched the image out with the scallop square punch. I mounted it and the strip underneath with stampin' dimensionals. I am not sure where the ribbon is from. I got it from my mother-in-law and it was just so perfect for the color combo that I had to use it!!!
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Gift Card Holder Swap and Tutorial
Recently I took part in a gift card holder swap with my group of Stampin' Up ladies called The Little Debbies!!! Here is what I created! To open the card, the ribbon slides off.
This is a quick and easy way to jazz up a gift card for that someone special! To make this gift card you start with a 4 x 11 inch sheet of card stock. You then score the paper at 3, 5 1/2 and 8 inches. You then fold it into a "W" shape. You then punch out a slot in the folded middle section large enough for a gift card or cash with any punch you like. Then you glue or tape that middle section together. But make sure that the adhesive you use is right at the edge of the card stock. This is where the card goes and you want to make sure you have enough room for it. I found that sticky tape worked the best for me. The rest is up to you!
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

A Pink Pirouette Birthday
I created this birthday card using Beate's @ Fresh and Fun Weekend Sketch Challenge #66 and Splitcoast's Color Challenge CC188. The colors are Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, and Whisper White.
I just love this color combo!
The cake is from Fun & Fast Notes and the saying is from the retired set It's Your Birthday. I use pink pirouette, basic black, and whisper white card stock. I also used the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. I used back black ink for the cake image and the saying. I colored the cake in with my blender pen and a pink pirouette ink refill, a barely banana marker. The plate is colored in with a blender pen and basic black ink. I used 2-way glue and dazzling diamonds on the cake. After I layered the cake onto the black, I used dimensionals to make that element pop. To create the two flowers, I used a punch from Target, another larger flower punch. Then I added a pink rhinestones from Kaiser Scrapbook to each flower.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Easy Bag Topper
These are a few quick bag toppers I made for my Etsy shop. They are super easy and dress up any little gift or package. I used very vanilla card stock. I used the hostess set called Organic Grace. The ink I used was Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Perfect Plum, and Chocolate Chip. I also used the color spritzer and a chocolate chip marker. I used the scallop edge punch for the edge. To get it to the right size, I measured the bag's width that then I measured length of how far down I wanted to label to go. I then just stapled the topper to my bag. It is only one layer, but it adds a fun touch!

Bella Toile and Buttons
I made this card for my mother-in-law for her birthday. But this card can be for any occasion! The stamp sets I used were Bella Toile and Cute and Curly. I used whisper white and ruby red card stock. Then I used just ruby red ink. I used buttons from the earth elements button collection. The ribbon is 5/8" chocolate chip grosgrain. I also used the corner rounder punch and the curly label punch. I also used stampin' dimensionals to raise the layers of the curly label punch. First I stamped the Bella Toile stamp with ruby red on to the whisper white card stock. I rounded the corners and rubbed the edges and the front of the paper on to the ink pad. I layered this onto ruby red cs. I used the Curly label punch and the cute and curly set to create the focal element. I added ribbon and buttons as well.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

B is For....
Bella! This is a card I made for my little niece, Bella! I used the Always, Wild West Alphabet, Cute & Curly, and Baroque Motifs sets from Stampin' Up! to create this card. I used pink pirouette, baja breeze, and whisper white card stock. For ink, I used just Baja Breeze. I stamped the bird from Always and then used the perforating tool from the Cutter kit to create a decorative edge. I used the ticket corner punch on the pink pirouette. Then layered the two images. I also used the ticket corner punch on the baja breeze that I stamped with swirls from Baroque Motifs. I also used the top note die and cut it in half, then placed it at the top and bottom of the main image. Then to create the B for my niece, whose name is Bella, I used the Cute and Curly stamp set, the Wild West Alphabet set, and the Curly Label punch, along with stampin' dimensionals. I also used the felt flowers from the Flowers Fusion Too set and a silver brad. And that was it.

Birthday Inspirations
I made this card for my sister-in-laws birthday! I was still in Virginia at Gaylyn's house (my other wonderful sister-in-law), so I used some of her goodies to create it!!! :O) Check out the picture below to see my inspiration!
I used whisper white, riding hood red, and chocolate chip card stock. For ink, I used chocolate chip and riding hood red classic inks. I used the Pocket Silhouettes, Baroque Motifs, Cute and Curly, and the hostess set called Best Yet. For the background I used the swirls from the Baroque Motifs set and a strip of chocolate chip card stock. I used the SU's exclusive Top Note die with the Big Shot with the riding hood red and whisper white. I stamped that with a stamp from the Pocket Silhouettes set onto the whisper white. I first inked the stamp in riding hood red and then used my chocolate chip marker to color in the stems. I stamped the image once and then again on both sides of the main image without re-inking the stamp. I used the curly label punch. I punched out with chocolate chip cs and then the stamped image from the Cute and Curly set and the Best Yet Set. I had masked the thank you from that stamp from the Cute and Curly set with tape before I inked the stamp. (Using tape is a great way to quickly mask something.) I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to place the words inside the stamped image. I cut out the "you" stamped in riding hood red and used dimensionals to layer all of the pieces. I added a riding hood red button tied to chocolate chip 5/8 grosgrain ribbon with linen thread to the corner with glue dots. I also sponged the edges of everything in chocolate chip before I glued it all together.
Here is a picture of my inspiration for this card. I picked out this coffee cup at Starbucks and thought I would make a card to match. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!
P.S. I added this color combo to my SUColorQ account! Just love this combo!!!
