Pink and Brown Always

I am finally getting the chance to post the anniversary card that I made for my hubby! I made this card a few months ago, as our anniversay was in August!

Anyway, here it is!!! I just love the Always set!! It is one of my favorites!! And with this color combo!!! Just love it! He loved it too! I used pretty in pink, chocolate chip, whisper white, and kraft card stock, I used the chocolate chip classic ink and the pretty in pink marker. The ribbon is 5/8 chocolate chip grossgrain. I also used the glue pad and dazzling diamonds with the heart image!! If you click on the photo to inlarge it, you can see the glitter better. I also used dimensionals to pop the heart and then the layer of pretty in pink card stock. I also used the ticket corner punch!

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Black and White Birthday

I made this birthday card for my sister in so many ways, Gaylyn! She loves anything french and anything black and white!!! The layout is from Splitcoaststampers challenge SC182. The colors are from for the color challenge CC05 from Splitcoast too! I just love this combo!! First I punched out all the scalloped squares using 2 sizes from the Cuttlebug Scallop Squares dies. I used SU's retired Carte Postal set. I stamped basic black ink on to the whisper white card stock. I also used basic black card stock and marker. I used the saying from the retired It's Your Birthday set. I also used my ticket corner punch for the saying. I then arranged all of the squares, glued them on, and then used dimensionals for the center square. And that was that! I am very pleased with the outcome!!! I hope she likes it too!

P.S. She loved it!!! :O)

Fall Color Challenge

Here is my card for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #23. Loved the colors! Unfortunately I had problems with my dishwasher and did not get it uploaded in time before the challenge was over!! Oh well! I guess that is life! I still love the color combo!! Great choices!!!

I used the new Pocket Silhouettes stamp set. The colors I used were bravo burgundy, chocolate chip, so saffron, old olive, and pumpkin pie card stock. I used pumpkin pie classic ink. I also used chocolate chip and so saffron markers. The button was from the earth elements set and I tried it with linen thread and adhered it with a glue dot. I used my corner rounder, scallop edge and curly label punches. I also used the chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon!

I made this card using Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge #57 (WSC57). She has great sketch challenges every Friday!!

I used the Fun and Fast Notes stamp set from Stampin' Up! For card stock I used Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, and the retired in color Soft Sky. The dp is also retired. It is from the set called Spring Fling. ( I love this set of papers! Great colors!) I used chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon and ink. I colored the carriage with soft sky ink and a blender pen along with a certainly celery marker. I also used the dazzling diamonds and 2-way glue pen. I used the scallop edge punch and the word window punch. I used the chocolate chip marker to create the dots on the top. I also use dimensionals to pop the main image up!!

KWERNER Color Challenge #22

Here is my card for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #22. This was another hard combo for me!! What do you think of my card?
I chose the set, A Beautiful Thing. I used bravo burgundy, rose red, regal rose, soft sky and whisper white card stock. I also used vellum. For ink I used soft sky and whisper white craft ink. I used the regal rose grosgrain ribbon. For a little bit of fun, I used my 2-way glue pen on the head of a silver brad and then dipped it into dazzling diamonds!!! I cut out the flowers and mounted them with dimensionals!

Cute and Curly Thank You

This is my card for Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge WSC56. Ok, so I know it is not the weekend anymore, but I started working on this card last Friday and was not able to get back to it until today!! We had one busy weekend!! I love this layout!! Thanks for a great layout Beate!

For this layout I used Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Kraft, and a tiny little bit of Kiwi Kiss card stock! I used Baja Breeze and Pink Pirouette classic ink. I used the Cute and Curly stamp set with the curly label punch! I thought this layout was perfect for it! I also used the scallop edge punch and the Boho Blossoms punch. I used the Tres Chic background in the pink pirouette too!! And for a fun touch, I added a rhinestone brad in the center of the flower!! Oh yeah...and I forgot to mention that I used dimensionals to pop up the cute and curly label!!

Birthday Hearts

I decided to try another one of the fantastic Color Inspiration challenges from Kristina Werner.
WOW! This one was hard for me!!! Definately a challenge!!! It took me a long time to come up with something that I was happy with! What do you think???
The colors for this challenge were Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss, Rose Red, Regal Rose, and Whisper White. I only have the two in colors for inks, so this challenge was hard. I got around that fact by using Versamark on the each different color of card stock. I stamped the hearts from Priceless and then cut then out. I layered them with dimensionals too! I stamped the saying from the retired It's Your Birthday set in kiwi kiss using my stamp-a-ma-jig to get it in the right place. I also used the scallop edge punch and the 1/16" hole punch to create a fun edge. I then tied whisper white taffeta ribbon around the top.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!
