Friend

This is my first time playing along with Dawn McVey's color challenge. This is Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #3! What a fun set of colors!! I tried to create a shabby chic card for this one!

I used kraft, very vanilla, pink pirouette, red riding hood, and berry sorbet (Papertrey - Thanks Gaylyn!) card stock. I used very vanilla craft ink and red riding hood classic ink. To create this card I started with kraft cs. I created the main part by used the scallop edge punch on very vanilla cs. I then stapled on red riding hood taffeta ribbon with a mini stapler. I added a strip of berry sorbet that I ran through the Cuttlebug Script embossing folder. Next I added a strip of pink pirouette that I ran through the Cuttlebug Texture embossing folder. At this point I tried to age the card and the strip I just created with my cutter kit and very vanilla craft ink. To create the flower, I punched out 1 3/4, 1 3/8, and 1 1/4 circles in red riding hood, berry sorbet, and pink pirouette cs. I stamped the Bella Toile background stamp on each layer of the flower using red riding hood ink. I aged the edges with the cutter kit and then placed dimensionals between each layer. I use a clear rhinestone brad as the center. I then stamped the saying from Papertrey's set called Women of Life in riding hood red.

Hopping Down the Bunny Trail!!!

Here is my card for Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #48 . The colors were fantastic this week!! Loved them! They were chocolate chip, kiwi kiss, baja breeze, and whisper white!!

I used card stock in every color for the challenge. The set I used is called Forest Friends from the new Occasions Mini. I used my chocolate chip marker for the girl bunny and my ink pad for the boy! I thinl I need to reink my pad!!! I also used kiwi kiss ink, and a chocolate chip marker for the tree. I used my aqua painter and a sponge for the ground and the tree with kiwi kiss ink. I sponged on some baja breeze for the sky. I popped the bunnies and the second layer of cs with the dimensionals. I also tried a ribbon knot and added it to the corner of the main image! What do you think?

Birthday Cards

My sister and I got a chance to stamp! Here is what we created!

This first card I made for my brother's birthday!!! This was a fast card to make too! I used SU's set called Hit the Road!! This set is so cute! I stamped it on watercolor paper with Stazon Black ink. I colored in the image with my aqua painter (LOVE that tool!) using baja breeze, pacific point, chocolate chip, and basic gray classic inks. I used the barely banana marker for the lights and basic black marker for some of the wheels. The base of the card is chocolate chip card stock. I layered the main image with baja breeze and pacific point. The saying if from the retired set called It's Your Birthday. I stamped this onto whisper white card stock and then punched it with the wide oval punch. I used the paper piercing tool to add dots to the top and the bottom of the saying and to the corner above the jeep. I layered that with two punched out 1 3/4 circles.

My sister created a card for a friend's birthday! Here is what she came up with! The raccoon is from the Under the Stars set. The saying if from the retired set called It's Your Birthday. She used whisper white, real red, and basic black card stock. For ink, she used Stazon black and real red. She colored in the raccoon with gray. She paper pierced the corners of her card with the paper piercing tool and the mat pack! I love how it came out! She did a great job!

Flower Card with No STAMPING!!!

I can not believe I made a card with NO stamping! I just used some circle punches and an embossing folder!

This is a great little card for a thank you or just a little note! This card measures 3 x 3". I used pink pirouette, whisper white, riding hood red, and kiwi kiss card stock. I ran the ww through my Sizzix machine with the Swiss Dots embossing folder by Cuttlebug. I then cut punched out 3 circles using the 1 3/4, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circle punches. I used the cutter kit to distress the edges and then I bent them all up to age the paper. I attached each layer with a dimensional. I placed a pink pirouette button tied with white embroidery thread to the top. The leaves were made with a punch too. I used the 1 3/8 circle punch to create them and then distressed them just like I did to the flower! I attached the flower and there you have it! :o)

Easter Bunny and Eggs Tags

I made these tags using Stampin' Up!'s new set An Egg-cellent Easter from the Occasion's Mini Catalog! They were quick and easy to make! I stamped the images in Stazon Timber Brown. I used my aqua painter along with close to cocoa, pink pirouette, baja breeze, and pale plum classic ink. I used a barely banana marker for the boy bunny's tie. I punched these out with the 1 1/4 circle punch. Then I punched out scallop circles and 1 3/8 circles in pink pirouette, barely banana, certainly celery, and bashful blue card stock. I then punched a circle for the white ribbon (from JoAnn's) with the 1/8 circle punch! I then glued it all together!
