Sweet Latte

Here is my card for Wednesday's Card Sketch Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers (SC159). I really enjoyed this challenge. Once I picked out the stamp set that I was going to use and the rest just started to flow! I love when that happens! This is one of my most favorite sets...Like it a Latte...a retired set.

This is how this card came to be....

All products are from Stampin' Up except for the brads, they are from Making Memories and the ribbon which I bought at Joann's. I chose some of my favorite colors which were very vanilla, close to cocoa, and blush blossom card stock. The inks I used were close to cocoa, pretty in pink, and versamark. I started by cutting out all of my layers. Then I stamped the small swirls of steam with versamark onto the very vanilla card. This is kind of hard to see in the picture (sorry about that). I did the same with the heart stamp on to the blush blossom cs. I stamped the cup and added the steam using close to cocoa with my stamp-a-ma-jig to place it just right on the page. I then used my ticket corner punch on the corners and added the antiqued copper brads in the corners with my mat pack. I added the ribbon too! I thought the cup needed some BLING so I added a heart that I stamped off first to create a lighter color, then cut it out. I wanted a lighter color to match the background and I do not have a blush blossom ink pad. I added dazzling diamonds with my two-way glue pen and attached it with dimensionals. I then attached the cup sections with dimensionals to the rest of the card.

So there you go! This was an easy and fun card to make for a special occasion. Thanks for looking and enjoy!
