Kraft, Pink, and Brown Bird

Ok...so my title is not the best!!! :O) I just wanted to do a quick post of a card I made a while ago! I have been checking out blogs all night for some fun Convention news!!! This is Stampin' Up's 20th year celebration! Lots of fun things are going on right now!!!

For this card, I used the Always set to create this card! I used kraft, pretty in pink, and whisper white card stock. For inks, I used pretty in pink and close to cocoa. I stamped him on a different piece of paper, cut him out, and then glued him on. I used pretty in pink pastels to fill in the bird. As for the button I used rose red and my gel pen to create a faux thread! I used glue dots to attach it. I really liked how this turned out!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a very creative day!

Fantastic card! Love the colors you used! Wouldn't have thought of using the hearts but love the idea. Really adds considerable to the overall look!

You know, I looked at that set and thought about buying it, but just didn't think there was much that could be done with it. I love your card though! You have me rethinking myself now! UGH. As if I need more stamps. lol! :)
