A Father's Day Card

This card came about because of the Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge SC233. I love the layers that this one presented and I needed a Father's Day Card...so here it is!

The sets I used were Lovely as a Tree and the Rough Edges Alphabet (retired). I used whisper white, chocolate chip, and garden green card stock. I used a little bit of dsp from the hostess sampler pack. The ribbon is chocolate chip grosgrain. For one of the layers I ran the cs through the Cuttlebug embossing folder called Script. I stamped the tree on to watercolor paper with Stazon Black ink. I then used my watercolor pencils and the aqua painter to color it in. For that layer I used dimensionals to make it pop. I stamped the word "Dad" in chocolate chip classic ink.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

What a beautiful card!!! Love layout, and embellishing. The colors are wonderful for a masculine card. Great job on it!
