Kraft, Pink, and Brown Bird

Ok...so my title is not the best!!! :O) I just wanted to do a quick post of a card I made a while ago! I have been checking out blogs all night for some fun Convention news!!! This is Stampin' Up's 20th year celebration! Lots of fun things are going on right now!!!

For this card, I used the Always set to create this card! I used kraft, pretty in pink, and whisper white card stock. For inks, I used pretty in pink and close to cocoa. I stamped him on a different piece of paper, cut him out, and then glued him on. I used pretty in pink pastels to fill in the bird. As for the button I used rose red and my gel pen to create a faux thread! I used glue dots to attach it. I really liked how this turned out!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a very creative day!

Friends are What the Heart Needs!

I made this card with some of our new items that are going to be in our Fall Catalog. This new set is a level two hostess set called Serene Spring. I just love this set!!! The saying is wonderful! I also used the new scallop edge punch! It makes a scallop edge so easy! For this card, I used soft sky, basic black, and whisper white card stock. I used basic black ink classic ink. The black brads are from Making Memories.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderfully creative day!!!

Sweet Thank You

I really like how this card turned out!! I made this card for one my blogging sisters. Everything is from Stampin' Up! I used whisper white and pretty in pink card stock. I also used a piece of paper from the Spring Fling designer series. The cherry stamp is from a retired set from the Occasions mini called Tart & Tangy. I just got the set! It is so cute! The background is the swirls from the Priceless set. The saying is from another retired set called All Natural. I used pretty in pink classic ink for this. I used pretty in pink and certainly celery markers to color the cherries and the stem. To make the ric rac ribbon between the cherry and the saying, I just used my scallop edge punch and pretty in pink card stock. I punched one side like normal and then punched the other side by placing the scallop already punched on the template and then started it in the middle of the scallop on the template. I love how it turned out!! I also used the corner rounder punch to finish the edges and the scallop edge punch to create the edge for the dp.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you are having a fantastic day!!!

Christmas Tag Swap!

I just took part in a fabulous Christmas tag swap with some of the Stampin' Up girls!! This is the tag I created!

I used all Stampin' Up! products. The tag measures 2 1/4 inches by 4 1/4 inches. The stamp set I used was Punch Pals! Love this set! The penguin is just too cute. I used real red and whisper white card stock. I stamped the images in real red and basic black classic ink. I colored the penguin in the same colors and so saffron for the beak. I used the pastels on his checks. I used the scallop circle punch, the word window punch, the tag corner punch, the 1 3/8 and 1 1/2 circle punches too. And for the scallops on the whisper white I used our newest punch, the scallop edge punch!!! Love this punch too! I stapled red grosgrain ribbon to the top

Thanks so much for looking!!! Have a wonderful day!

Dreams du Jour Pocket Card

WOW! I have been so busy lately! I had a card class last Wednesday and I can't wait to show you what we made! But first, I also got my shipment in of new goodies that Stampin' Up! is previewing for their new catalog, which will come out next month! Well I just had to make a card with some of the my new stuff!

This is the card I made! It is a pocket card! This was a sketch challenge sometime back on Splitcoaststampers (SC26). All products are from Stampin' Up! except for the white brads which are from Making Memories. I used one of your brand new sets called Dreams du Jour! I love this set! I also used two of our new colors, Riding Hood Red and Baja Breeze along with kraft and whisper white! I used Stazon Black ink. I took the Dreams stamp and stamped it twice, once on whisper white and then on to Riding Hood Red. I cut out the flower on the red and used a dimensional to attach it. I layered that onto the Baja Breeze. I then got to use my new tool, the scallop edge punch to punch out the wonderful scallops in whisper white to place under the folded part on the front of card. I love it!! This tool was so easy and fast to use! I also used the round tab punch in baja breeze for the whisper white tag in the inside!! Then I used the corner rounder punch. What do you think?

I love how this one turned out!! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!!

A WINNER!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for all of your wonderful comments!!! I really enjoyed reading them! My favorite tool or tools right now would have to be the Stampin' UP! punches!!! I love them!!! My favorite technique would have to be watercoloring with the blender pen!! I do not have to get the aqua painter, yet, but I know that I will love that tool too!!!

Ok!!! Now for the winner.....I cut up all of the entries, placed them in a bag, and my daughter picked....one of my sisters!!!....

OOOooooohhhh Yummy, Everyone loves Candy! Congrats on your popularity- you happen to be the only blog I check on a regular basis, including my own. I just love all your cards!

My favorite tool would have to be the 2 way glue/Dazzling Diamonds combo-it always adds just the right blinga to a project. Technique favorite is rock n roll-monotone is not good when it comes to color. Thanks!!

Tags!

These are some quick tags I made for a thank you gift. They are made from Stampin' Up! products. The stamps are from a retired set called Too Terrific Tags. I used pretty in pink, soft sky, and pale plum card stock. I used black, blue bayou, and perfect plum classic ink pads. The ribbon is blue bayou double-stitched and pretty in pink 1/4" grosgrain ribbon. I punched out the tags with the large tag punch and then attached the ribbon with a staple!

Thanks for looking and have a great day!!
