A Baby gift - Onesies

These are the onesies that I created for my new little nephew!! I used several fun Stampin' Up! sets. The inks I used are Palette inks from Papertrey. They are a hybrid ink. I used spring moss, burnt umber, summer sunrise, and lemon tart. Before you can start to stamp on fabric, you need to wash it and them dry it without fabric softener. The stamp your images with some sort of cardboard so the ink does not bleed through. Then you will need to heat set your stamped images. I did this by placing the onesies in the dryer for 15 minutes on high heat.

For the one on the left, I used the bear from the retired set called Happy Camper. The star stamp and the saying are from Under the Stars. For the middle one, I used the Bronc Buster set. For the one on the right, I used the Bugs and Kisses set. I also stamped on the back side and the sleeves of each of them too! Oh and I have to add that I did use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to help me position my stamps just right!!!

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Camping Birthday Wishes

Here is an easy card that has a masculine theme.

I used all products from Stampin' Up! I started with blue bayou, wild wasabi, close to cocoa, chocolate chip, whisper white, and really rust card stock. I used blue bayou, chocolate chip, and really rust classic inks. The images are from the Happy Camper set and the saying is from the Birthday Whimsy set (a Sale-a-bration set). To create the circles I used both the 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punches. I stamped the images into whisper white then punched them out and layered then with the same color cs. I layered the circles on to close to cocoa cs. Then I added the other two colors. I stamped the saying in chocolate chip. I added the three brads using my mat pack and paper piercing tool to place them just right! I also used my pastels to add a bit of color to the lamp and the bear!

Thanks so much for looking and enjoy!

Here is another picture of the card! :O)

A Guy's Birthday Card

I find it hard to come up with guy cards for any occassion. I usually have to sit and ponder for a while until I come up with an idea. Well my wonderful husband gave me the Happy Camper set from Stampin' Up! for Christmas and the creativity started to flow. I love this set. It is sooo cute! So here is a birthday card from it.

All products used are Stampin' Up! All the stamps are from the Happy Camper set except for the saying which is from the It's Your Birthday set. I started with whisper white card stock and stamped the fire and trailer in chocolate chip. Then I stamped the smoke twice on a scratch sheet and then on the card with black to make it look gray. I stamped the trees in old olive multiple times to give it dimension while masking the trailer and the fire. I stamped the trailer in pumpkin pie on a separate paper, cut it out, and glued it on. I used the Stampin' Pastels to color in the ground, smoke, trees, and the sky. I used barely banana and real red stampin' write markers to color in the fire. I mounted both the saying and the image onto Blue Bayou card stock. Before mounting it all onto the card I added a strip of close to cocoa cs (card stock) to the card and then glued it all together with snail adhesive. Oh yeah...and I rounded the corners with a corner rounder to tie it all together.

Enjoy!!!
