Double Hearts

So my sister-in-law is back home today! We all really miss her and her kids! She is such an inspiration! We had so much fun stamping together!

As for the rest of the day, I decided to take part in a challenge. Some of my ladies from my Stampin' Up! Demonstrators group decide to do the Clean and Simple Stamping's challenge, Fall-to Layout 78. This is what I came up with!

I new that I wanted to incorporate hearts in this one. I started with the Heart punch and paper from the Designer Series Paper Pad called Welcome Neighbor in the new Sale-a-bration catalog. I worked the rest of the card around the colors of the DSP. The card stock I used is kraft, chocolate chip, whisper white, and pretty in pink. The hearts were popped up the Stampin' Dimensionals. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in melon mambo classic ink. The ribbon is the other side of the melon mambo polka dot ribbon. The glitter background was created  using the French Filigree background stamp, versamark, heat and stick powder, heating tool, and dazzling diamonds. I used the corner rounder punch for the two corners.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Heart Flower

Wow! I am on a roll! Two posts in two days!
I am loving creating Valentine's cards this year! This was a fun one to create! I started with kraft card stock for the base of the card. Then blush blossom for the base behind the flower. The flower is made from so saffron, ruby red, and mellow moss card stock. The heart of the flower was made from the new Stampin' Up! Embosslits Die called Scalloped Heart of Hearts and the Heart punch found in the Occasions Mini catalog. I popped the heart with Stampin' Dimensionals. I made the stem of the flower with the scallop edge punch and the leaves with the 1 3/4 circle punch. The ribbon is the retired So Saffron grosgrain ribbon. The edge is very vanilla card stock and the eyelet boarder punch. The saying is from Teeny Tiny Wishes (such a great set) stamped in Rose Red classic ink. The edges of the card are sponged with whisper white craft ink. And oh yeah...can not forget that corner rounder punch to finish it all off

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!

Matchbox Valentine

How have you been? Have you had a chance to create something fun lately? I have and I can not wait to share it with you! My sister-in-law is here visiting me and we have been creating so many fun things!!! She is my upline too so you can imagine the trouble that we are getting into!

With Valentine's just around the corner I wanted to made something yummy! Here is one of the items that I have been working on! A Valentine's treat box made out from Stampin' Up!'s exclusive Sizzix die called Stampin' Up! Matchbox. So cute and easy to make....only takes a few minutes to create this great little package. This is a wonderful gift idea for a friend, kid, teacher, boss and so on.

This box uses regal rose, real red, whisper white, and rich razzleberry card stock. I embossed the outside of the box with the swirls from the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates. I added the polka dot rich razzleberry ribbon. I created the label using the phrase from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in rich razzleberry. I used the word window and the modern label punches. I used the scalloped oval punch to create a window and then put a clear window sheet. I also punched out hearts from the Heart to Heart punch. I wanted to add some shine so I added some Dazzling Diamonds to the edge of my label and the hearts! For the chocolate nuggets inside, I just stamped onto address mailing labels using a phrase from Teeny Tiny Wishes and images from Tiny Tags (from Occasions Mini). I used rich razzleberry, real red, and melon mambo classic inks. I then just wrapped the labels around the chocolates! Simple and easy! A great way to some more fun to your great packaging!

Three Scalloped Ovals

Hi! I can't believe it is already Wednesday! We have family from back east here and this week is just flying by!

Here is the card that I created for Kerin @ Stamps, Paper, Glitter's Sketch Challenge #20. This was a challenging sketch for me! But it was a lot of fun! Thanks for another great sketch!

I used the Bella's Bloom and the Teeny Tiny Wishes. I also used the rich razzleberry, crushed curry, melon mambo, and soft suede markers! Thanks right SU now has new In Color Markers! Gotta love them! To create the three main images I used markers to color the flowers with markers on to whisper white. I punched them out with the large oval punch. I punched the coordinating color of card stock with the scallop oval punch. I layered these with dimensionals and then placed them on the card. I then added two strips of paper.... one is rich razzleberry and the other is from the dsp called Razzleberry Lemonade. I added white taffeta ribbon. I also added a saying by using the word window punch, the modern label punch, and more dimensionals.Oh yeah and I rounded the top corners with the corner rounder punch!

Floral Birthday

The Fifth Avenue Floral set is so easy and fun to use! I stamped several of the flowers in baja breeze and kiwi kiss on to a piece of whisper white card stock. I then layered on to baja breeze cs. I added a strip of baja breeze striped ribbon to the edge. For the sentiment, I stamped the saying from Teeny Tiny Wishes in baja breeze and then punched it out with the word window punch. I added two silver brads and then dimensionals to make it pop off of the piece of baja breeze cs that I punched out with the new modern label punch. I placed all of this elements on a card base of close to cocoa.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!
