Wow! It has been a busy past couple of weeks! I decided at the last... and I mean last moment to participate in Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Award contest! That was a crazy few days! 10 projects!! It was a lot of fun! I learned a lot! I will post the pictures after the winners are announced! I have stamped a little bit since then, so I have some fun things that I will be showing you soon!
The card I am showing today was for a little girl's birthday! I used the Garden Whimsy set. One of my favorites! I colored the tulip with an elegant eggplant marker and then stamped it off for a lighter color then I used marker again around the edges. I colored in the stem with an old olive marker. I did this three times on to whisper white card stock. I then used the Stampin' Pastels old olive for the ground. I also used the 2-way glue and Dazzling Diamonds on the tulips for some fun sparkle! I layered this on to elegant eggplant cs. I added a strip of whisper white cs that had been punched with the scallop edge punch. I placed this onto a close to cocoa card stock.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very creative day!!!
P.S. I almost forgot to tell you that a card I made was chosen by the talented Dawn McVey for her Raspberry Suite Color Challenge for Week 3! Check it out here "In The Spotlight- Week 3" (I am C) and the card here!!! I am so excited!!! Thanks so much Dawn!
