Dahlia

This was a fun card to create! I created it for the Try a New Technique challenge at Splitcoast Stampers (TLC153). The flower was fun and easy to create. Just a few simple folds!

All products are from Stampin' Up! except for the brads which are from Making Memories. The Designer Series Paper is where I started on this card. I really liked this page from Flowers for You. I punched out 8 circles with my 1 1/4 circle punch. Then I folded them according to the directions found on here and on the challenge page. That took no time at all. I placed the folded circles on and then thought that I would use my new Boho Blossoms punch and add some flowers. I added a black brad. I matted the flower with lovely lilac and then basic black cs. I also used my ticket corner punch! The saying and the background were from the One of a Kind stamp set. The saying was stamped with basic black onto whisper white and layered onto basic black and lovely lilac. Oh and I used my paper piercing tool and mat pack to add another element to the card.

Thanks for looking! Enjoy!
